Apparently sales were too low to justify keeping it on the shelves. They did say sometimes products are brought back from obilion if enough customers express an interest. If you like Cuban Mojito simmer sauce, please go to the Trdaer Joe's website and let them now you want it to come back.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8845761906789033835.post-1285561245199354262008-04-14T14:13:00.000-05:002008-04-14T14:13:00.000-05:00I'm suck a dimwit! It's not the same brand but hey it's from the Jamaican spot it's GOT to be similar.

It seems that every time I'm going to make this dish I don't have everything! Sigh. I have Bacardi 151 - long story, black beans and corn! but alas no mojito. Oh and I was in the city this weekend (nyc) and didnt' think to stop by Trader Joes. Sigh.

Ok, I'm at goldenbrown [AT] gmail [DOT] com. and it comes to my phone so feel free to email at anytime. I'm going to head out to the nearest "whole foods" market and PRAY they have it. Heck I may even trek down to TJs.

I really want this tonight!miss jo ladiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01174692741517952258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8845761906789033835.post-56832565523648367462008-04-12T23:22:00.000-05:002008-04-12T23:22:00.000-05:00anonymous - thank for leaving a comment! i'm glad ...anonymous - thank for leaving a comment! i'm glad you enjoy reading my blog and trying out some of the recipes i post about it :) i will have to find some of those things the next time i go to TJ's - which will be in a few weeks - yay! :)

golden - not sure if you were serious, but your profile is blocked so i have no way of contacting you...Jaimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10194510368311330032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8845761906789033835.post-20021748544803402462008-04-08T13:53:00.000-05:002008-04-08T13:53:00.000-05:00Aaah, good old Trader Joe's. Although the real point of the post is to tell you what my favorite things at trader joes are....Dried Mango, Dark Chocolate Covered Raisins, Minced Frozen Garlic (sames me loads of time), Naan in the frozen food section is a good buy if your short on time, Bears Lair Chardonnay is a steal at $5, they have Baela in the refrigerated section that I toss with orzo for a good pasta salad for the work week, Whole wheat pizza dough can be frozen and is delicious, and their Guacomole kit is a steal at $2.69 even if you dont use it for making guac but use each of the ingredients in other dishes!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8845761906789033835.post-56169282800403271072008-04-07T10:14:00.000-05:002008-04-07T10:14:00.000-05:00This looks delicious!there isn't a Trader Joes nea...This looks delicious!
there isn't a Trader Joes near me, I have never been there, but after reading your post, I shall have to figure out where the closest one is!SaraLynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15822536105739463960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8845761906789033835.post-86059013842952437072008-04-05T12:30:00.000-05:002008-04-05T12:30:00.000-05:00Yep, being 8 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes ...Yep, being 8 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from Trader Joe's is quite convenient.

I love mojitos- I'll have to pick up some of that simmering sauce!RecipeGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03387369904765600870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8845761906789033835.post-49497800500095710942008-04-04T20:15:00.000-05:002008-04-04T20:15:00.000-05:00I love that jerk seasoning. I love cooking chicken with it and then making a light chicken salad with it. I don't use a lot of mayo and leave the chix in chunks.
